Team Repair September 2025 Monthly Round-up

September has been a huge month for Team Repair!

From new school partnerships to international events, we’ve been busy sharing the magic of Team Repair everywhere!

September Wins 🏆

• Over September, we taught 1,055 young people the skill of repair!
• We were selected as one of the Top 50 most promising startups in Europe.🚀🎖️
• We worked with 21 schools across the UK, plus ran projects and events with communities and partners nationwide.

Team Repair in Schools 🏫

• We have just launched new repair programmes in schools in South Ayrshire, Hampshire and Surrey, where 20 classes are taking part in our full 12 week programme.
• In Kent, we had six schools join us for half-day workshops as part of a wider initiative focused on waste reduction.
• We also kicked off a new partnership with the Royal Borough of Kensington and Chelsea, who are funding three schools to take part in our programme. The first school started in September and is already getting hands-on repair.
• And…a special shoutout to Riddlesden St Mary’s in West Yorkshire, our very first customers! For the third year in a row, they are running Team Repair as a weekly enrichment programme for their Year 6s.

Workshops in the Community 🔧

We have been popping up at repair cafés across the country:

• Sevenoaks Repair Café ran Team Repair workshops as part of their community events.
• The East London Waste Authority hosted sessions using our kits alongside their repair café.
• We also launched a four-month project with Hounslow Repair Café in London, now open for the public to book

Partnership Highlights 🤝

We ran a focus group at The Fixing Factory to gather insights and test new products.

We also teamed up with EY (Ernst & Young) for their STEM Day in London, where Team Repair was part of a fantastic day of hands-on learning for local children.

Events 🌍

It’s been an exciting few weeks of events and collaborations:

• Hosted an adult repair workshop at FixFest London 🛠️
• Joined Back Market at the Slow Tech Forum in Paris, ahead of an exciting joint project month
• Travelled to The Drop Conference in Malmö to share how Team Repair is empowering the next generation of fixers.

• Finalising new packaging for our microscope kits

• And (if that wasn’t enough)… working on a huge project that we can’t quite announce yet 👀
